What do I do with the paper punch cards customers already have?
The short answer
Move them over. A customer with a paper punch card joins, the employee sends the visits they collected for approval, and you approve. Only after approval do the visits go onto the card in the wallet.
How the move works
- The customer joins the loyalty club, like any customer.
- The employee enters in the scanner how many visits are on the paper card, and sends it for approval.
- You get a notification on your phone, with the customer's first name and a link to the queue.
- You approve, and the visits go onto the card in the wallet.
Why approval is needed
Several visits at once is where it is easy to make a mistake or exaggerate. That is why such a move is marked in the reports, and a request that waits a week gets one reminder. You can turn the notifications off in the portal.
